A scarce Kane County bank with just 10 large notes recorded. This note is certainly among the best. Purchased from Tim Kyzivat. Elgin was founded in 1835 on the Fox River between Galena and Chicago. It was the home of the Elgin Watch Company and the Borden Milk Company, to which Elgin owes much of its success.
