National Bank Notes > Wisconsin
Madison, First NB, 144
Fr. 382 $1 Original
Grade:
VF
This was Madison's big bank, issuing a good supply of notes through 1935. Fifty-two large size notes survived but the First Charter notes are rare. Befitting a first-class collection, all three known First Charters are here. This Ace shows minimal soiling and is a great way to get a rare note on the state capital. N.B. Van Slyke, President and C. Wayne Ramsay, Cashier, signed.
