Only a single #1 small size sheet has ever surfaced on this bank. It was severed many years ago to provide collectors with these #1 examples. To date, just three of those six #1s have passed through a major sale, with the last one being four years ago. This piece is bright, well centered and relatively free of handling marks. It does however, have a sheet fold in the top margin, just tangent to the design frame line. The fold cannot be seen except on the back, leaving this a very attractive #1 note.
