Pierce County is easily in the running for one of the most difficult counties in Wisconsin to obtain a note from one of its issuing banks. Only the First National Bank of Prescott (three large, nine small) and the First National Bank of River Falls (one large) were located here. Just a single small size and two large size notes have ever appeared at auction on this Prescott bank, and that took place a decade ago.
