We have not seen a note from this rare bank offered at auction in almost 10 years, and that includes small size. This evenly circulated 1882 Dateback is one of four large size notes reported and was obtained from a 1982 Hickman sale. The two-color pen signatures of F.E. McGraw, President and A.G. Fowler, Cashier really stand out. No doubt the other three notes are in strong hands, and with a large size outstanding of $70, I would not want to wait for a new piece to surface.
