This bank issued 1882 Datebacks in all three of the lower denominations, but it appears only the initial and rather small order was by the B.E.P. before the bank switched to the 1902 Series notes. Only 1,012 $5 notes, 588 $10s and 196 $20s were printed. Of that production we are fortunate that at least three $5s survived. This peach has jumbo margins and deep embossing, but a faint vertical fold is noticed, along with a few rust flecks in the margin. Overall, a stunning banknote.
