Although the owner of the Power Collection of $5 Brownbacks desperately wanted to add this piece to his collection when it came up for sale in 2004, he was denied the honor by Chet. Ornate signatures of C.M. Blackman, President and E.F. Thayer, Cashier fit well with the note.
