This is an extremely rare Wisconsin bank that only issued Brownbacks from 1885 until it was liquidated in 1905. Two $5 notes and this $20 are all that remain from that circulation. The only record of any note being offered from this institution took place in 1991 when we sold one of the $5s for $1,045. Now, 17 years later, this $20 must be worth many times more. L.D. Hinkley, President and B.W. Davis, Cashier were the bank officers.
