This incredible $50 Dateback is one of a very limited number of fifties printed by this bank. Sixty Red Seals and 1,200 of this type were made in all, and just one other $50 is known, that being a low-grade Dateback. The quality of this piece is amazing, especially considering the rarity of the denomination. Bold black signatures of Geo. B. Wheeler, President and C.K. Anderson, Cashier make this an impressive example. Graded Ch. New 63 PPQ by PCGS.
