It is hard to say what this unique River Falls will bring on its first recorded auction sale. It is one of the rarest towns in Wisconsin having issued fewer than 2,000 sheets of large size. A paltry $315 was outstanding in 1935, from a total issue of $65,600. The note itself is quite nice for the grade, experiencing none of the problems one usually must accept on these rarities. It even has easily readable signatures of Geo. Smith, President and J.F. Smith, Cashier. Whatever the final hammer price, it will seem like a bargain in the morning, for no amount of money or cajoling will secure another.
