This impossibly rare note from this Milwaukee bank may have its problems, but for the collector wishing to obtain every known charter on this major city, his options are severely limited. This bank was in business for less than six years and issued just 1,840 sheets of Brownbacks. In 1910, only $1,410 remained outstanding. No example from this institution has ever been offered at a public sale, according to Track & Price, and their records cover decades of the major public sales. There is one other note in the records, but it has not been seen for decades either. Some restoration has been done at the center, but where would you find another?
