This note last appeared in a 2002 auction where it was described as having excellent color and being well-margined. It also had a few faults along the lines of a couple edge tears and some damage to the 'R' in 'Treasury' in the overprint. Those minor faults have since been expertly restored, so well in fact, that close inspection is required to tell that anything was done. The bronze overprint has oxidized for the most part, a common occurrence for these notes. Overall, one of the nicer looking examples and every bit the equal to the Flynn specimen that brought $12,650 in April 2008.
