Nine notes documenting a soldier's travels to his love, beginning on 11-1-43 from Camp Gruber (OK) stating first from Uncle Sam . Others from Ft. Lewis (WA), Ft. Ord (CA), Camp McCoy (WI) and Camp (later Fort) Rucker (AL). All annotated and surprising that a serviceman s wife had the forethought and resources to save these (this must be a man's perspective, as women are known to save everything endearing).
