Compared to Charter 64, this bank with 89 large notes known almost sounds scarce. Of course, this Original Series $20 truly is rare. It is the only note of its type and denomination known from Wisconsin. The note is heavily circulated but intact except for some splitting along the centerfold. The pen signatures of Charles D. Nash, President and William G. Fitch, Cashier are clear. A rarity of the first order. Hickman offered the only other First Charter on the bank back in 1989, but this sale will be the first time this $20 has been available to the public.
