Despite the large number of Milwaukee banks that issued small size, there are not many #1 notes available. Seven of the 13 banks issued small size and just three of those had any surviving #1 small size notes. Most of those survivors can be found on this charter where the total #1s amount to just 11 pieces. But more important, none have been available at auction in nearly 10 years. We break the drought with this well-centered example.
