This bank was originally chartered as the McCartney National Bank of Fort Howard, but changed in 1910 to this far more recognized town of Green Bay. There are 32 large size notes known with this second title. I would think this high-grade Second Charter would be preferred over most. The purple stamped signatures are light, but should be J.H. Tayler, President and G.A. Richardson, Cashier. Traces of embossing are evident.
