Full, even margins are noted on this scarcer $20 Hamilton. The Fr. 147 is the type note; this Friedberg number has only 52 pieces known, with the addition of this number to the census. More important, the surfacing of this note forms a triad of the finest notes known from this signature combination. This group of three, all consecutive, grade either "64" or "65", and have consistently brought $3,000 to $4,000 each time they were sold over the last 12 years. Other than that, two "63s" are recorded (one is a star) and there is one in "62". The remaining notes are circulated. An important offering that today's sophisticated collectors won't overlook. Graded Very Ch. New 64 by PCGS.
