From the fabled Don C. Kelly Collection of Ohio Nationals comes this trophy Lazy Deuce with three jumbo, and one average, margins, strong pen signatures and an overall appearance of Fine 15. The design is very strong on both sides. Comments "restoration, serial number altered from 1727 to appear as number 1". The caliber of the work is beyond excellent forcing one to wonder how the original serial number was determined. For all the world, this seems to be a genuine serial #1 and we've seen those fetch upwards of $100,000. We won't pretend that this is a six-figure item, but you can pretend it is the real deal. Truly a great note irrespective of the serial number.
