Not only is this a rare seal and signature combination to find, in any grade, but this note is really more like a three-fold UNC than a circulated note. It has broad margins to add to its color and originality. In 1999 we sold an AU at $25,300. This example, which comes from the Peter Burg Collection, has a pedigree back to Abe Kosoff, and is listed in the census as an AU. This large red spiked seal is both scarce and desirable. In fact, there are only 10 in private hands, and this is definitely one of the top examples known.
