To say single-digit $5 Legals are rare would be an understatement. The number of pieces that exist probably amount to less than 10 for all series combined. I can't remember the last time I had one from the 1928s. Far better than any single-digit Silver Certificate or Federal Reserve Note. After this note sells, it could be decades before it reappears. If you collect low numbers then set aside a little extra for this cherry. It's a note worth stretching for.
