Decades ago, earlier in my career as a currency dealer, I was fortunate enough to handle this wonderful uncut sheet of $1 Educationals. Eventually it ended up with a prominent, low key Western collector who had it professionally framed and matted, and putting the $1 Proof Educational of 1875 with it. Now it's time to share this sheet with a new custodian, possibly a jilted bidder from the uncut set of #1 Educational sheets that realized well over $1,000,000 for the set. This sheet is serial #5-6-7-8. This is an excellent opportunity because history has proven this may well not be offered anytime soon if you let it go now. I know of no other uncut sheets of Educationals of any denomination to exist today. A wonderful part of American history and our recognition of the need for education to fuel the growth and prosperity in America and the World.
