Tonopah, located in Nye County, is certainly an important location for Nevada collectors. There are only seven large and six small size notes reported. We offered a $10 in VF 20 that realized $7,343. This note was part of the Howard Herz Casino Collection, sold by Heritage in 1995, where it realized $3,190 before Nevada notes got 'hot'. The quality of all but the #1 are similar.
