Fremont, First NB, W1974
Fr. 602 $5 1902ND
Grade:
PMG Fine 12, small stain
Fremont's earliest bank ran into trouble and closed in 1921, but not before issuing a large number of sheets of Red Seals and Blue Seals. However, since charter #3188 assumed their circulation, most of that issue was pulled, until only 21 examples remain today. This piece has blue stamped signatures that have weakened slightly and a small stain, as noted on the PMG holder. Graded Fine 12 by PMG.
