What a treat it would be to add this vivid Red Seal to your collection. The precise pen signatures of the female Assistant Cashier, Naomi Wheatley, and the President, Conrad Strecker, are perfect. The note is well-centered and appears to be aptly graded. There is a trivial ink spot at the right. This short-lived bank closed in 1909 after issuing a ridiculously low number of state designated notes, a mere 350 sheets of Red Seals and Datebacks. State examples remain unknown, leaving only the Territorial Red Seals to supply collector needs. If it were not for the fact that someone saved most of the notes from the first three sheets of Territorials, the note we offer here would have been one of two notes known on the bank. Notes from those first three sheets have been absent from the market for over 10 years.
