A tremendous rarity from Berks County, and this early American community is highly sought after. This bank has only 14 large notes reported, with five public offerings. This great looking $100 Red Seal was sold by Smythe in 1997 and again in 2003 for $20,700. A pretty note with excellent signatures of Geo. Brooke and J.W. Richards. A great opportunity for a local specialist or serious type collector. There were only 490 sheets of a $50-$100 Red Seals ever printed.
