Here is a beautiful $10 first charter from an early bank in Iowa County. It is one of six first charters known on the bank, also being the best of the two $10s reported. There are a total of 29 listed for the entire state and I would like some, but I imagine many are in the Higgins Museum, as well as the bank collection and a few serious, tight-fisted collectors. This note is very fresh and the pen signatures are outstanding.
