This is about as good a Minnesota Blue Seal as you are likely to find. There has never, ever been one offered for sale publicly as far as I can tell. This bank was in business just 10 years, from 1916 to 1926, and issued only 2,540 sheets. Located in Douglas County, in west-central Minnesota, this was a very small community and this was the town's only national bank. Records shows there are only two other large size notes reported; one is in the Higgins Museum and the other is in deplorable condition, according to the owner. This note is evenly circulated with pen signatures of Fred Swenson and James Gamble.
