Mystic Bridge, First NB, 251
Fr. 402 $5 1875
Grade:
PMG VF 20
This is one of the neatest town names you can get. The town is now (since 1909) known as Mystic and before that it was called Mystic River and even prior to that it was Mystic Bridge, which is the rarest of all. This note is one of just four notes reported. The bank closed in 1894 and it's a rarity. Notes on these early closing banks rarely ever appear. Last year one sold on eBay at $22,351.
