This is a new addition to the 31 known 1882 Datebacks on Wyoming. This example is a decent note, with just a couple of short margin tears at the top. This was the sole bank to serve this Fremont County town, and now has 19 large notes in the census. Certainly equal to the example we sold in March 2009, if not a little better. The stamped signature of the president is strong but the cashier's has faded. Included is a 1952 letter from the vice president of the Casper National Bank explaining that he is sending two notes to the then president of the First National Bank of Lander. The note offered here is one of those bills. Two piece lot.
