Original uncut sheet of Black Eagles with full selvage all around. Uncut sheets represent the utmost challenge in locating, in fact, if more were available they would be more heavily promoted and likely cost more. Presumably, Black Eagle sheets were only available to dignitaries, as they long predate the sales of uncut sheets by the Treasury Department to the public. This particular sheet has a terrific overall appearance, despite some restoration along the vertical center fold and left quarter fold. It was executed with professional skill. As such, this handsome sheet would look spectacular if it were mounted and framed. A couple of XF sheets have sold in the $30,000 range, so this might prove to be both attractive and attractively priced.
