Just two different signature combinations comprise this short 1913 $50 Gold Series. Of the 270 examples known for both, a mere two-dozen pieces exist in any grade of uncirculated. Of those, only one note has reached the level of perfection required of notes destined for the finest collections. This jewel meets every standard demanded by the grade with room to spare. The most amazing feature beyond the vibrant color and micro-meter perfect front centering is the embossing. It is so well defined one can make out the letters in the gold seal. Truly an incredible note that comes around only once in a great while. This trophy will certainly set a record price. The only question is who will take it home.
