This is a very rare bank that has only appeared in auction once since 1997. That appearance was made by this note and it realized $5,060. It is one of four known and is the finest. A rare bank, named for the county, that was chartered in 1879 and closed in 1884. They issued just $5 1875 Series and just 5,040 sheets. Signed by S. Masse, President and J.L. Bigelow, Cashier.
