Only six other large notes are recorded on this elusive Cortland County bank, but this piece must be the most special among them. The note itself is 100% natural with a faint bend. It sports delicate pen signatures of James E. Ogden, Cashier and Geo. A. Brockmann, President, as well as their courtesy autographs on the verso. If that were not enough, an original Grinnell sale tag is also included, but unfortunately, the lot number doesn't match up. Ex: Paul A. Klinkert Collection.
