Only $50s and $100s were issued by this bank. Since the town had two other banks issuing small size notes at the time, perhaps printing only high denomination notes was their way to make a statement. That statement ended when the bank went into receivership in late 1931. This is the nicest $100 known and only the third to be offered this decade. Ex: Paul A. Klinkert Collection.
