Lot #1610 - Union City, Farmers NB, 2372

National Bank Notes > Michigan

Union City, Farmers NB, 2372
Fr. 433 $20 1875
Grade: VF/XF, rust
This bank was chartered in 1877 and was liquidated in 1911 after issuing just over 8,600 sheets. There are now six notes listed in the census. The centering is excellent on this rare, early $20 but some of the red has faded, both on the seal and serial numbers. This bank didn't issue all that many notes and nearly all were First Charters. Only two First Charters are currently known. The pen signatures of D.D. Buell, Vice President and H.T. Carpenter, Cashier have faded. From the Louis Van Belkum Collection.
Current Bid: $ 2,400.00

Estimate: ($ 3,000.00 - $ 6,000.00)
