This definitely is not the bank you normally see on Bay City. This bank opened in 1874 and closed in 1894. There are just six large notes reported. This example has excellent pen signatures of D.C. Smalley, Vice President and Orrin Bump, Cashier. There are six notes reported from this early bank, including two $20 First Charters and the other is even nicer than this one.
