This Chickasha bank is extremely scarce in small size. That is not a surprise as the bank issued a mere 435 sheets before it closed in February 1930. Just three 1929 Series notes have ever been reported, with this example being the finest by a wide margin. Three of the great Oklahoma collections of the last 30 years have had to share a single VG example, since this beauty was unavailable to them. So rare that, until now, no small note on this bank has ever been offered at a public auction. This note could be a wonderful upgrade for an established Oklahoma collector, or a key purchase for someone building a premium set of small size. The note is extremely clean and without problems.
