The central vignette on the $50 has been cut out of this otherwise decent Toppan, Carpenter, Casilear & Co. proof with a hinge mark along the bottom. The portrait vignette is that of Lewis Cass, New York statesman and later Michigan governor. The lot also includes a $10 which also has the central vignette removed. Two piece lot.
