One of the most sought after types within the Gold Certificates. Hard to find in decent shape since the gold ink used for the back was unstable and often oxidized to a dull brown, or just flaked off completely in places. Luckily, this note has retained the majority of its golden hue, disrupted only a bit by the remnants of a blue number stamped on the back. The face is well-centered and if the red overprint was stronger, the note would appear AU.
