Whitney, First NB, S7875
Fr. 587 $5 1902RS #1
Grade:
XF
This note is a beauty. It is new to the census and the only red seal. The other four notes include one from the Philpott Collection. Only 300 sheets of $5 red seals and 220 sheets of $10 and $20 red seals were printed. This is the kind of trophy note that makes you want to stand up and shout (or bid). The bank, in Hill County, was chartered in 1905 and liquidated in 1933. This note has great color, impressive margins, excellent pen signatures and a brilliant red seal. Buy the best!
