This is a very sharp, evenly circulated example of a Gold Bank Note. The paper quality is more reminiscent of a VF, but there has been some minor splits and tears addressed by proper restoration. The pen signatures of Frank Mills, Cashier and Henry Miller, Vice President are clear and bold. This is an Original Series with charter #2014. There are 40 notes reported. The note we sold in the Highland Park Collection was one of the best and realized nearly $44,000.
