An extremely rare town for Nationals. There were two banks in Dresden, and until now both were represented by just a single note. This bank was chartered first and issued only Brownbacks during its short nine year life. The other note that is known is also a $5, but is in lower grade. Track & Price has just one record of it selling. That was at a Smythe sale in 2001 where it brought $3,740. This attractive example, with delicate pen signatures and in significantly better grade, should do as well or better.
