Thomas A. Hendricks was Vice President under Grover Cleveland and served from March 4, 1885 until November 25, 1885 when he died in office. He is the only Vice President, whose portrait appears on U.S. paper money, who did not also serve as President. This is a lovely specimen of a beautiful design.
