One of the grand highlights of this Colorado consignment. Just as awesome a note as when your cataloger handled this piece so many, many years ago. It came out of L&L Coins in Denver and took quite a bit of arm twisting to get it bought. I'm sure there was a lot of seller's remorse (and buyer's elation) after the deal was done. Sporting lovely two-color pen signatures and the barest of handling. Three large notes are known on the bank, but only two on this second title. We sold the other note with this title in 2005 for almost $30,000. Destined to enter a premium collection of Nationals, after what I'm sure will be a most heated battle.
