An excessively rare Lazy Deuce, as this newly discovered piece joins only four other deuces in comprising the complete census of known Lazy Twos from New Mexico Territory. Even the recently auctioned Latimer Collection, one of the finest ever assembled on New Mexico, lacked even one such example. Clear signatures and sharp colors for the grade. This evenly circulated note has had some restoration in the right margin and numerous edge dings addressed, but still has a handful of pinholes.
