This new discovery is the second known $100 Type 2 from Cambridge. There is a $100 Type 2 on Salisbury in VF as well. This note came from the Cambridge Collection. I have offered here a Ch. AU, serial #8, that looks UNC. One must consider that ONLY 35 were printed near the end of the National Banking era. The entire nation has only saved 261 $100 Type 2 notes in all grades, and UNCs are virtually impossible to locate. We sold the other known example for $9,487 in June 2004.
