Mississippi Brown Backs are few and far between. This $5 is one of three that appeared from this excessively rare bank. The note is nicely centered, with great color and excellent pen signatures. The bank only issued $5, $10 and $20 Brown Backs and only 1,812 sheets were printed. A great note. In August 2005 we sold this note at $21,850, then the other two appeared. Poorly handled at the time but a great rarity.
