This is an extremely rare type to find with any condition as there are barely 200 examples known country wide and in all grades. There is a small group of these Chase notes in high grade and most collectors look to this issue for their type notes. This note is from a run of five UNCs that are consecutive. We sold one other in March 2013 at $6,100. This is a very scarce type and if they were cut better they would likely be the finest of the type. This note has nice embossing and bright paper but there is a pinhole. From the W. Horton, Jr. Collection.
