Grade:
Ch. CU
This bank was the last to be found from Iowa to represent Shelby County from where it was issued. There were only two banks in Harland and they eluded discovery for decades. Now records indicate 10 known, and the #1 Brown Back from the earlier charter has also appeared. This note is one of two UNCs known. It's a beauty and was still in the holder I sold it in when received. Excellent pen signatures of F.W. Owen, President and Harry E. Lewis, Cashier.
