Wow...what a great $20 1875 Series. This is a lovely VF/XF with nice centering, exquisite color and amazing signatures. The census shows six large notes reported and there have only been three auction results. The other $20 was sold by us in June but this is an entirely different item. This definitely is not the bank you normally see on Bay City. This bank opened in 1874 and closed in 1894. There are just six large notes reported. This example has excellent pen signatures of D.C. Smalley, Vice President and Orrin Bump, Cashier.
